As part of its solution, Metrological has developed a Software Development Kit (SDK) which is widely used by third parties development companies to build apps that run on the Metrological Application Framework.

Responsibilities:

Your key role will be to support such development companies with any technical issues by guiding and assisting their technical teams.

On a regular week your activities will be to:

  • Support external application development parties in complex technical issues;
  • Provide SDK training; track and develop the (online) SDK documentation and the SDK FAQ;
  • Review code of applications developed by external partners using the Metrological SDK;
  • Support external partners building/finalizing applications;
  • Spend time and effort solving issues reported by externals;
  • Document best practices per platforms/scenario as lessons learned;
  • Provide on-site support during the international appathons that we organize;
  • You will also develop apps for our application platform yourself, where time allows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or similar (must);
  • Around 5 years of relevant work experience with frontend programming languages, in particular Javascript, CSS and HTML (must);
  • You’re experienced with engineering support and have excellent debugging skills in software products;
  • Experience with NodeJS (preferred);
  • You show initiative, are pro-active, responsive and keen to get things resolved;
  • You have strong communication skills. You are able to listen, speak and observe;
  • You like helping and supporting others;
  • You have an excellent command of the English language, in word and in writing;
  • Furthermore, you are accurate, you work in a structured way and you are a team player, who takes responsibility and is well able to work independently.
